Come and celebrate National Science Week and the Sydney Science Festival with NICM researchers at the Australian Botanical Gardens at Mount Annan's Science in the Wild - Dinosaurs vs Superpowers (opens in a new window) on Sunday 11 August.
Batman, Spiderman, Wonder Woman, or Cat woman - we all know about their fantastic strength and abilities. But did you know you can find fantastic superpowers at The Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan? Super sight, super hearing, super strength and camouflage are only some of the capabilities you will discover.
Join our scientists at their stall and find out what amazing superpowers you can find in nature. Learn about our Australian native plants and their remarkable strategies for survival and their potential as a source for novel medicines, with demonstrations and educational experiences for the whole family.
The incredible roving Dinosaur will also be there to show you a bit of pre-historic fauna. Science in the Wild is an outdoor family day that gives children and their parents the opportunity to learn about science in a relaxed fun atmosphere.
