31 August 2020 Although about 60 per cent of patients starting chemotherapy, and 47 per cent of those receiving radiotherapy, also use complementary medicine, a “concerning” number of hospital cancer services do not have policies about complementary medicine practitioners or patient-initiated complementary medicine use, according to research published online today by the Medical Journal of Australia.
24 July 2020 Congratulations to Dr Carolyn Ee who was awarded the 2020 Primary Care Collaborative Cancer Clinical Trials Group Training Award. Dr Ee will use the award to develop research into weight management for breast cancer survivors.
